Become GREEN Challenge ambassador

As a GREEN Challenge ambassador, you help motivate students to become a part of GREEN Challenge and integrate sustainability, environment and climate technology into the educations at DTU.

What are we doing?

As ambassador, you become part of our team of students who have a great interest in the subject. We have all participated in earlier GREEN Challenges, so we have a lot of inspiration and motivation to pass on to the others. We do this by giving presentations a few times a year, in which we tell the students about our projects and experiences from GREEN Challenge. 

Sometimes we help solve practical tasks together with the GREEN Challenge team in connection with the conference. As you can see further down, the students also have the opportunity to contact us if they have any questions about GREEN Challenge.

Become a GREEN ambassador and strengthen your network, strengthen your skills and have some cool experiences. As a thank you, we will arrange professional and interesting tours and have meetings together with food and snacks.

Aleksander, Cecilie, Rasmus and Søren were awarded 1st place at GREEN Challenge 2017 with their project "Venom Detection Kit". Their project is to develop a diagnostic tool for the identification of poison in blood samples. In this way, doctors can provide the correct antidote.

Andreas was awarded 1st place at GREEN Challenge 2016 with his project "Self-healing Asphalt". His project is to develop an asphalt mix that can repair itself with the aid of induction heating and thus triple the road life.

 Kathrine Hagen

Kathrine was awarded 1st place at GREEN Challenge 2017 with his project "From Plastic Waste to Tile". Her project is to convert soft wrapping to the brick that can be used to build restrooms in the villages of India. In this way, we reduce the amount of plastic waste.

Anneline Hegelund Christensen

Anneline was awarded 1st place at GREEN Challenge 2016 with his project "Optimal Flow Through a Humidity Induced Convection Pump". Her project is to model the occupant's structure in a steam convection pump, which will then have the potential to become a new form of renewable energy.

Asbjørn Høj Christensen

Asbjørn was awarded 2nd place at GREEN Challenge 2017 with his project "AgroPrint". His project presents The SeedPrinter1, a driverless and eco-friendly seed drill. With its extreme precision, it can replace the farmer and save him for physical work and time.

Nicolas was awarded 3rd Place at GREEN Challenge 2017 with his project "Food to Fungus". His project is about growing fungi on food residues, thus fighting the amount of food waste.

Environmental Engineering

Cecile Kittel

Cecile was awarded 3rd place at GREEN Challenge 2017 with her project "Informing a Hydrological Model of the Ogooué with Multi-Mission Remote Sensing". Her project explores how to identify the hydrological system of the river with the help of a hydrological modeling program with satellite data remote sensing.

Peter was awarded 1st place at GREEN Challenge 2017 with his project "Green Treatment of Black Water". His project presents a predictive control strategy that reduces power consumption from wastewater treatment, thus making it a greener process.

Jens was awarded 2nd place at GREEN Challenge 2017 with his project "Three Elements for an Even Playing Field". The concept of his project is to enforce the 2020 regulations on fuel SOx content in transport on / in water.

Kristoffer was awarded 3rd place at GREEN Challenge 2015 with his project "Syngas Fermentation - Growing Bacteria on CO2". His project explores how to produce syngas of organic material and use it as fuel and pharmaceuticals.

Food Technology

Pia Fiil Christensen Sara Aaslet

Pia and Sara were awarded 3rd place at GREEN Challenge 2017 with their project "Sediefilm". Their project presents degradable and edible films that can be used for wrapping food. In this way, we reduce the production of plastic waste from the food industry.
